The Artist Program

Artist ProgramSouth Side Artists are provided a space in which to create new work while interacting with other artists of diverse backgrounds and the community.

APPLICATION PROCESS

If you are interested in a space in the Artist Program, please submit a portfolio containing a sample of your work. If you are a performing artist, a video or CD is acceptable. An artist statement and resume must accompany your portfolio — this should include your history as an artist and what you would hope to accomplish in the program, as well as contribute to the community. The portfolios received will then be placed in a pool of portfolios, which are reviewed by a committee upon studio availability. Once the selection is made, you will be notified. Submitting a portfolio does not guarantee a space in the Program.
